Troglodita RIG

Look at this thing! Don't you want to just grab it and animate it! Looks like so much fun with such a rig setup!

Wow, this looks awesome. Wish he would provided a breakdown of his rigging process.

AM needs to hire this guy to make some appealing rigs with decent deformable skinning.

This is so killer, wish this rig was available to use,you are right Jean so tasty.

Well, you have to admit AM rigs are getting left behind compared to some of the other online animation schools. Even some of there own mentors have mentioned how the rigs lack appeal and skinning issues with them.

I'm just scoffing at the anonymous part. Not a fan of anonymous comments in general. The rigs are a topic of discussion for another time.

Well, thats cool. We all know the animation community is a small place even on the global scale. You make a criticism about some aspect of it and word can get round as being a trouble causer. Prefer not to have that kind of blight on my character unnecessarily effecting future opportunities...

I can see that.

Regardless, I criticize the rigs of the school you mentor at and you decide you don't like this and sarcastically change the subject to be about anonymous comments. Great way to have constructive dialogue with people who follow your blog.

You're absolutely right and I'm not denying that. You won't see me publicly bag on my employer and regardless of the topic I dislike anonymous comments, especially if the first comment is a snarky critique. I didn't see you leading with constructive dialogue so excuse me if I can't take your last post seriously.
"Make appealing rigs" is not constructive criticism. If you have well thought out critique and are able to offer solutions then you can write that up with your real name.

If you're an AM student then I would suggest that you submit a ticket regarding technical problems like deformations or any other fixable issues. The appeal part is an esthetic issue which isn't fixable. They have their designers and either people will like the designs or not, since esthetics can be subjective. I like and dislike certain rigs from all schools and rig makers, be them AM, iAnimate, Long Winter, etc.
